Seniors Lunches

 

Lunchtime for Seniors has never been more lively, with Colonial Lunches throughout the year, available any time a group of 40 or more would like to get out and have some good old-fashioned fun.

Our Colonial Lunch days start at 10:30am with piping hot scones with jam and cream, bottomless tea or coffee and a hearty home-baked carvery lunch later on with live entertainment. If after all this, you still want more, desserts will be available. Colonial lunches are available for groups of 40 or more any day depending on availability of entertainer.

Throughout the year Theme Days are planned as well, from St Patrick's celebrations to Scottish Week, Mother's Week celebrations to Bush Christmas in July and others.

 

 

IRISH WEEK
MAR. 12, 14, 15 - $37

Irish_Dancer

 St. Patrick's celebration with traditional Irish Step Dancing and Entertainment featuring a sing a long of all the Irish Evergreens.Prize for the "Greenest" person. Morning Tea and Lunch.

SCOTTISH DAY
APRIL 16, 18, 19 - $37

 Celebrate a great and colourful heritage with Scottish entertainment and Dancing. Devonshire tea followed by a delightful Sing-a- Long of old Scottish favourites. Piping in of the Haggis. Highland Dancing accompanied by the skirl of the pipes. Morning Tea plus Three Course lunch. Everyone is invited to join in the Scottish Country Dancing and to conclude a delightful day we say goodbye with Auld Lange Syne.

 

 

MOTHERS' WEEK
MAY 14, 16,17 - $35

 A wonderful selection of songs dedicated to mum and all ladies will receive a delightful gift. Morning Tea includes piping hot scones with jam and cream, bottomless tea and coffee, followed later by a delicious old fashioned carvery

JUNE 25 to July 31 - $35

 Buttai Barn's most popular theme day saw thousands of smiling, happy, laughing faces and many have already booked for 2011 Join the throng and celebrate with us this winter and enjoy our home made scones, traditional baked lunch with chicken, pork, beef and ham , baked vegies, plum pudding plus many more great desserts. Entertainment by Kent Daniel and delight to the thousands of fairy lights, carols by candlelight and the fattest Santa around.

A unique show, featuring the works of

Henry Lawson & Banjo Paterson, set to music and sung by artists such as Hugh McDonald,Leonard Teale, Slim Dusty etc., An outstanding udio/visual presentation, introducing each of the songs and discussion of the circumstances that influenced them.  Filmed re-enactments, rare arhival footage and rarely seen filmed live performances.  Photos and highlights of Lawson's life and a copy of Paterson original "Waltzing Matilda" manuscript on display.
